Napoli, the former club of ‘monster defender’ Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich), are considering a managerial change just months after the appointment of a new coach, according to multiple Italian outlets.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has been extremely disappointed with the team’s current fifth-place finish after winning the Scudetto last season and is considering sacking Napoli coach Rudi Garcia, according to Sky Sports, Di Marzio, and other Italian publications. A decision could be made during the October A-match week.

According to these outlets, De Laurentiis has made former Tottenham boss Antonio Conte his top target. Former Marseille boss Igor Tudor and former Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier have also been linked, but Conte is the only option at the moment.

The De Laurentiis have already been in contact with Conte and are in talks, according to Di Marzio.

Conte’s terms are reportedly “a three-year contract and an annual salary in the region of €8 million”. 토토사이트

Conte led Juventus to three consecutive Scudetto titles from 2012 to 2014 and won the league title with Inter Milan in the 2020-2021 season. Conte, who parted ways with Tottenham in March, has been unemployed for seven months.

Napoli, who conquered Serie A for the first time in 33 years last season with the likes of Kim Min-jae, are fifth in the league with 14 points from four wins, two draws and a loss to Fiorentina 1-0 on Sept. 9. They are already seven points behind leader AC Milan (21).

Tottenham, who have been coached by Enzi Postecoglou this season, are unbeaten at the top of the Premier League table with six wins, two draws and no defeats after eight rounds.
